Ulsanic is therapeutically anti-ulcerogenic and capable of inhibiting the proteolytic action of pepsin.Ulsanic forms a protective film over the mucosa in ulcerated or inflamed areas of the stomach and protects the gastric mucosa, and can absorb pepsin, trypsin and bile acids.
